DPS now taking fugitive tips on Facebook

AUSTIN, TX

"By adding this new Facebook option to report tips, we are reaching a completely new audience and demographic, and we are hopeful this will help generate additional tips and make the process more convenient for our tipsters," said DPS Director Steven McCraw. "We must continue to use traditional and innovative means to put these criminals, including sex offenders and dangerous gang members, behind bars before they have a chance to hurt anyone else."

To submit a Facebook tip, go to http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted, and click on the 'SUBMIT A TIP' link (under the 'About' Section) to provide anonymous information that could yield a cash reward if the tip leads to the arrest of the fugitive. If you 'Like' the page, you will then get updates when fugitives are added or captured.

The Governor's Criminal Justice Division provides cash rewards as high as $20,000 for the current fugitives. Take a look at their photos here.

The current Most Wanted Fugitive list includes suspects with the following last known addresses:

  • Pasadena
  • Spring
  • San Antonio
  • Goliad (and Nueces County)
  • Corpus Christi
  • Weslaco
  • Edinburg
  • Abilene
