A woman says Mark Dennis Yarloff took a picture of her 2-year-old and 3-year-old nieces at a Walmart off Fry Rd. on March 9. She says the girls' mother chased Yarloff outside the store and held him there until Harris Co. Sheriff's deputies showed up. After running a background check, the woman says deputies discovered Yarloff was a registered sex offender.
Yarloff, 67, is charged with improper photography.
He was convicted of lewd acts upon a child in California in 1993.
Bond has been set at $20,000.
