Crowds packed the stands at the horse track Saturday night for the inaugural exotic animal races.
Ostriches were the first to come out the gate. The crowd loved them. One ostrich clearly showed it wasn't fond of the planned race. It broke free of its jockey on the muddy course.
Camel races came next. Race fans couldn't help but laugh as some of them didn't know which direction to go.
The first-of-their-kind, 100-yard races were held between the traditional thoroughbred horse races.
