Armed duo robs bank near River Oaks

No one was injured Saturday when two armed men stormed into a Houston bank and demanded money, but officials said the robbers did get away with some cash.

The bank robbery happened around 9:45am at Wells Fargo Bank in the 3800 block of Westheimer near Weslayan.

According to the FBI Houston Division, two armed men with dark clothes and masks entered the bank and demanded money.

Bank employees cooperated and the men took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The men then drove away in a green Chevrolet Blazer. The vehicle was recovered a short distance away, but the suspects were gone.

Authorities are trying to identify and find those men.
