Police are investigating a possible break-in at the Houston Public Library in downtown Houston this morning.

A security guard doing his rounds discovered a man on the main desk. Investigators say he was trying to log onto the library's computers at around 5am.

He told the security guard he works at the library but did not have a badge. He also allegedly told the guard he had to go to the bathroom and could not wait for the building to open.

That man is now in custody being questioned.
