Tho Nguyen was arrested on a possession of marijuana after investigators found 587 marijuana plants and $91,941 during a search warrant at a home in the Waterview Estates subdivision.
Detectives had been investigating the home in the 5000 block of Beech Fern Drive for two months before they executed the search warrant on Monday. Inside the home, they also discovered indoor growing lights, scales, water pumps, fans, power inverters and assorted equipment used for manufacturing, packaging, and selling marijuana.
Nguyen was released from the Fort Bend County Jail after posting a $15,000 bond.
