Montgomery County sheriff's deputies say they stopped a pickup with enough chemicals to make close to $5 million worth of methamphetamine.

Investigators say they stopped the truck on October 27 on N. Walker Road just north of State Highway 105 and found 14 gallons of liquid meth concealed within it.

DEA hazardous material experts took custody of the liquid and experts believe the seizure could make as much as 200 pounds of methamphetamine having a street value of over $4.8 million.

Enrique Alvarez, 40, and Herminia Santana, 37, were taken into federal custody and are both believed to be undocumented aliens.

Deputies say a 7-month-old baby was also in the truck and is in CPS custody.
