According to officials, it happened around 4am in the 12600 block of Huntington Venture Dr. near West Bellfort and South Dairy Ashford.
Houston police say residents reported hearing several gunshots and, upon investigating, found the victim lying on the ground. They then called 911. There is neither a known suspect nor a motive in this incident.
The male victim, 21, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
