Extreme temperatures caused the northbound feeder road at Interstate 610 West and Bellaire to buckle.
The Texas Department of Transportation said the ramp was buckled about two feet.
Work crews closed the feeder. TXDOT was there Sunday night and made the repairs before the Monday morning rush hour.
A spokesperson for TXDOT said she believes this is the only heat-related road issue they've had.
