Fundraisers held for injured children orphaned in crash

CYPRESS, TX Friends of Robin and Joshua Berry organized a lemonade and bake sale in Cypress on Saturday to help pay for the children's medical expenses.

There was also a dog wash held Saturday in West University with proceeds benefiting the children.

The Berrys died over the Fourth of July weekend while driving home from a family vacation in Colorado.

Their nine- and eight-year-old sons and six-year-old daughter were seriously injured.

Both boys are being transferred to a hospital in Chicago that specializes in spinal injuries.

The Berry children are being cared for by their aunt and uncle.
