Man accused of raping 13-year-old girl, resulting in pregnancy

HOUSTON Samuel Zuniga Hernandez is charged with felony aggravated sexual assault of a child under age 14. According to court documents, in November 2010, Hernandez pushed his way into the girl's house when she was home alone and forcibly raped her. The girl told authorities he threatened that something would happen to her father or brothers if she told anyone what had happened.

The girl reportedly did not reveal the assault until it was learned that she was pregnant.

The girl's mother told the Harris County Sheriff's Department she thought Hernandez may now be in Mexico. Hernandez has not been arrested. Bail in the case is set at $80,000.
