Person of interest sought in security guard's murder

FRESNO, TX

Fort Bend County Sheriff's Detectives are seeking information concerning the suspect's identity in the murder of Fidel Sanchez. At about 12:30am on April 20, Ft. Bend Co. Sheriff's deputies were called to J. D. Abrams, a construction business located in the 8400 block of FM 2234 in Fresno. They found Sanchez, a private security guard, had been shot several times. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he later died.

According to detectives, Sanchez responded to an alarm call at the site, discovered a major theft of construction materials in progress and was shot.
