Capital murder charges have been filed against three suspects accused of fatally shooting a convenience store customer during a robbery in December. Police arrested 31-year-old Edgar Ivan Padron on March 31 and Jose Adolpho Castillo, 30, the next day, according to a Houston Police Department statement. Mark Antonio Deleon, 32, was arrested after a SWAT standoff on Thursday. HPD investigators are currently following leads involving a possible fourth suspect.

The three men are accused of killing Saturnino Argueta on the evening of New Year's Eve during a convenience store heist in the 5600 block of Beechnut. Argueta, 57, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Surveillance video showed the suspects arriving in a white two-toned Ford F-250 pickup truck with a front brush guard. The driver of the vehicle remained inside the truck while the three other suspects entered the convenience store.

Tips to Crime Stoppers led to the identification of four possible suspects involved in this case. Anyone with information for authorities can contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
