Former instructor charged with online solicitation

PASADENA, TX Manvel police arrested Dobie High School orchestra instructor Benjamin Childress, 26, after getting a call about a suspicious vehicle in a field. Police say Childress and a 15-year-old boy were in the car. Police say the two had met on Craigs List and had sexual conversations before meeting.

Childress resigned the very next day after his arrest. Pasadena ISD officials say letters and phone calls have gone out to parents of students involved in the orchestra.

Childress is out on $100,000 bond.
