Three men arrested in deadly home invasion

ANGLETON, TX

Police say around 10pm Monday three masked men walked up to Guadalupe Garcia's home on West Rogers near South Erskine in Angleton. One of the suspects knocked on the front door and when Garcia answered the door, there was a physical confrontation and Garcia was shot in the chest.

Garcia, 69, was transported to Danbury Medical Center where he later died.

Tuesday, investigators followed leads and tips which resulted in the questioning of three young men -- ages 18, 17, and 15 -- in the shooting death of Garcia. After questioning, charges were filed.

Police say the case is still being investigated, but they believe the three young men went to Garcia's residence in order to rob the occupants.

Justin Wilson, 18, is charged with murder and aggravated robbery. Kenneth Anthony, 17, is charged with aggravated robbery. The 15-year-old boy is charged with burglary of a habitation.

Two of the three are suspects in another home invasion robbery which took place on Monday at approximately 2:20am. That robbery is still under investigation.

The two adults will be transported to Brazoria Co. Sheriff's Office and the teen will be turned over to the Brazoria Co. juvenile authorities.
