Vigil to be held for four killed in day care fire

HOUSTON

Elizabeth Kajoh, Kendyll Stradford, Elias Castillo and Shomari Dickerson died in the fire at their west Houston day care nearly two weeks ago. Three other children were seriously injured, but are recovering. Jessica Tata, the woman charged in their deaths, fled the country, and is believed to be in Nigeria.

Houston's Nigerian community is holding a vigil this Saturday to honor the children and support their families. It will be at 4pm at the Dream Banquet Hall at 11225 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77099.

It is open to anyone who wants to attend.
