Police: Robbery may be motive in pastor's death
ARLINGTON, TX
Arlington police said Friday that items were missing from
NorthPointe Baptist Church but wouldn't give details. Police
continue searching for the injured ministry assistant's vehicle,
which was believed stolen after the Thursday attack.
Church members described the Rev. Clint Dobson as a dynamic
pastor who always had a smile and hug for them as they walked into
the sanctuary before services.
NorthPointe is a satellite church of First Baptist Church of
Arlington, where the Rev. Dennis Wiles says both congregations are
in mourning.
Wiles says Dobson had a warm demeanor and wonderful sense of
humor. He says Dobson was a great communicator and preacher.
