HFD firefighter gets probation for shoplifting

HOUSTON Police say she stole a DVD player, two movies and a bag of ice. Prosecutors say /*Jane Draycott*/ will be on probation for one year. If she completes the terms of her probation, the case will come up for dismissal next year.

Earlier this month, a federal report found Draycott was the victim of sexual harassment and a hostile work environment. She filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in 2009 after someone vandalized her locker and the locker of another female firefighter.
