Authorities locate missing 12-year-old girl

HOUSTON Officials did not specify where they found Alantria Jones, who had not been seen since Monday. HPD Missing Persons said they never thought she was abducted because she has had a number of runaway incidents in the past and apparently tried to convince some friends to leave school on Monday to go meet some boys. The friends did not want to go with her, so she apparently hopped a METRO bus at a bus stop in front of 3111 W. Little York around 8:30am.

She found safe Friday afternoon.
