Car dragged by train after being struck in SW Houston

Firefighters managed to rescue to people from inside the car.

Two people had to be pulled from a car after their vehicle was hit by a train overnight in west Houston. Around midnight the car was near the tracks on Richmond Avenue, when the train pushed it about one block south to the Southwest Freeway overpass near Drexel.

Firefighters managed to rescue to people from inside the car. Both people were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
