HOUSTON --A high-speed police chase in southwest Houston ended when a K-9 dog caught up with the suspect. Officers were trying to pull over a driver for speeding, but he refused to stop. Police say the suspect led them on a chase for about 10 minutes before jumping out of the vehicle on Knotty Oaks near Wrigley. He ran into a backyard and tried to hide, but a police K-9 unit tracked him down and attacked. His wounds are not serious.
Police say the man only had a few traffic warrants. He will now be charged with a felony.
