Viewers contacted Eyewitness News reporting a loud boom that sounded almost like an explosion around noon.

Bus involved in accident in Galveston
GALVESTON, TX
The bus was involved in a wreck with an SUV on 61st Street, just south of I-45, near Offatts Bayou. The front of the bus collided with the back of the SUV. Officials at UTMB report six patients from the accident arrived at the hospital. None of the victims' injuries appear to be life-threatening.
