Police investigate possible drive-by shooting

HOUSTON The shooting happened early Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex along Carvel and Tanglewilde. A woman said that her grandson walked into her home and said someone shot him. The grandmother told us she drove her 21-year-old grandson to the hospital.

"He said that some guys in a red pickup went by twice and then they stopped and shot him," said grandmother Martha Valandran.

"He actually walked over there and the grandma that's when she took him to the hospital. He was able to walk from there to his house because it's not that far," said apartment manager Wendy Reyes.

The apartment manager told us that someone had set the grandmother's car on fire two weeks ago.

We do not know the condition of the wounded man or what led up to the shooting.

Houston police told us they are looking for two Hispanic males around age 17 to 18 who were seen driving a small red pickup truck.
