Amber Alert canceled after toddler found safe

HOUSTON Christopher Tolson is a couple days shy of turning one year old. Around 8:30pm, his mother and father drove to a barber shop on Homestead in northeast Houston. The father got out of the car, and that's when a suspect jumped inside.

The suspect ordered the mom out of the vehicle and then took off with the baby in the back seat. After a few hours, the suspect later put the baby on the doorstep of a home on Homestead. The baby was not hurt.

But police are still looking for the suspect and the car. That car is a white 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Texas license plate is 816-SWW.
