Detectives say it's not too late for anyone to come forward with information about the 33-year-old murder of a teen girl in Spring. Detectives are reaching out to the public for help solving the cold case murder of 18-year-old Connie Sue Madvig.

Madvig was found stabbed to death in a wooded area near Aldine Westfield and East Cypresswood on June 27, 1977. She was last seen alive four days earlier as she walked to a store after leaving her parents' home in the 23900 block of Spring Briar Lane.

No photo of Madvig was immediately available, and her family now lives out of state.

Anyone with information about her death is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 or the Harris County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit at 713-967-5911.
