Two-alarm fire breaks out at warehouse

The building on Lawndale caught fire after 7am in southeast Houston.

Power lines were knocked down when a warehouse building in southeast Houston caught fire this morning. The fire broke out after 7am on Lawndale and Des Jardines. According to fire officials, it's an old warehouse that held lumber and doors. There were no toxic chemicals inside the structure. There is no word on what sparked the flames.

We're told no one is inside the building, but firefighters stayed outside because of the danger from the two-alarm fire. The warehouse building is a total loss.
