Police chase involving U-Haul ends in crash

HOUSTON A police officer spotted a U-Haul sitting in the back of the H-E-B on West 18th around 1:30am. When the officer approached the truck took off down TC Jester near Egbert. The officer followed until the truck lost control just past 11th Street. The truck crashed into a fence and the driver jumped out and ran.

Police did manage to capture the driver. They say he had been stealing plastic pallets from the grocery store.
