FISD trustees pass new texting policy

FRIENDSWOOD, TX Trustees unanimously approved the revised guidelines. Under the new plan, employees are only allowed to message a student who is participating in an extracurricular activity that he or she oversees. A duplicate of the message will also be sent to a parent. Students should receive a letter detailing the changes.
