Two people are recovering in the hospital after they were shot in northeast Houston. It happened outside of a bar on Irvington near Barry. Around midnight, officers received a disturbance call from the bar. About an hour later the shooting happened. A witness told police it was the same group of people.

"What we understand at this time is there was a confrontation in the club and some of the participants of that confrontation left and said they would be back," said Capt. Dwayne Ready with the Houston Police Department. "That time they came back is when they took the shots."

One man was shot in the eye, the other in the groin. Both went to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
