DPS on lookout for missing sex offender
HOUSTON
The Department of Public Safety wants to find 51-year-old Bruce McCain. They say he left a halfway house in northeast Houston Friday night and hasn't been seen since. He was sentenced for two sex assaults in south Texas back in 1986. He is now wanted on a charge of felony civil commitment.
McCain is 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 160 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He has several tattoos, including a spider web tattoo on the right side of his neck.
Authorities consider the fugitive violent. Anyone who aids the suspect could face criminal charges.
