Home damaged by Ike demolished on anniversary

HOUSTON SkyEye HD was over the demolition earlier today. The owners have been living in a trailer and hope to be in their new home by the end of the year. It's part of the same housing assistance program being offered in Harris County.

Just like Harris County, agencies in Galveston County could also lose millions of dollars in federal aid by the end of the month, unless a September 30 deadline to use the government funds is extended.
