Coyote sightings increase in Deer Park

Deer Park is warning residents about an increase in coyote sightings. As the city expands into areas that used to be habitats for wild animals, more coyotes are turning up in residential areas. Many of them have lost their fear of humans, and they now look at homes as an easy place to find food.

Texas wildlife officials say you can reduce the chances of coyotes visiting your home by not keeping pet food outside and putting tight lids on trash cans.
