After Whited's picture was aired on the local news, a concerned citizen called into the Crime Stoppers tip line. The caller provided information on Whited's current location. Whited was arrested around 10:00pm Wednesday at the location provided by the caller.

HOUSTON
According to Crime Stoppers, in May 2009, the seven-year-old victim was visiting Scott Anthony Whited at his house in Highlands. While the victim was there, Whited allegedly touched him inappropriately. A short time after the visit, the victim told his mother what had happened.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office charged Whited with indecency with a child after an investigation. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Whited, 39, is a white male. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has brown hair with blue eyes and a light complexion.
