Woman dead, husband hurt, youngsters suspected
GARLAND, TX
Killed was 46-year-old Darlene Nevil. A Garland police statement
says her body was found about 2:30 p.m. Tueday inside her home in
the Dallas suburb after her wounded husband called police.
Hospitalized in serious condition is her 48-year-old husband,
Alan Nevil, whom police found in a neighbor's front yard.
The police statement says investigators were directed
immediately to the youngsters, who were found several blocks away
and taken into custody without incident. Police won't reveal the
nature of their relationship to the Nevils, but say both are held
for investigation of murder.
