Fake cop strikes again in Sugar Land

The suspect was described as a heavy-set black man with a fair complexion and a large stomach. He was 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighed 210 to 225 pounds.

Just hours after we told you about it on Wednesday, a man posing as a police officer in Sugar Land struck again and stole someone's credit card. Last night's incident happened at the 24-Hour Fitness off the Southwest Freeway. Sugar Land police say it's the fourth time the man has done this in the past week.

He stops people in parking lots, flashes a badge, and asks for identification. When the person hands over their wallet or purse, the man distracts them and steals their credit cards. He's stolen hundreds of dollars from his victims.
