Dozens arrested for not showing up for truancy hearing

Deputies in east Montgomery County rounded up dozens of teens overnight who didn't show up to a court hearing last week. Those teens were supposed to face a judge for skipping school, but only half of the 250 summoned students showed up so warrants for their arrests were issued and police rounded up about 20 teens last night.

They all now face contempt of court charges.

One teen also faces escape charges after deputies say she walked out of the jail while waiting to be booked.
