Deer Park woman's class ring found after 36 years
HOUSTON
Just weeks after Judith Goode Fesler exchanged class rings with
her then-boyfriend in the summer of 1974, the couple was hanging
out at the battlefield and her ring flew off his pinky finger. They
searched, but couldn't find it.
On Wednesday, the park superintendent handed her the 1973 class
ring from Deer Park High School with her initials on it.
The Houston Chronicle reports that a volunteer found the ring
about 4 inches below the surface. Fesler, who lives in Kerrville,
was identified through a list of 1973 graduates maintained by the
high school's alumni association.
