Humane Society offers incentives to find home for cats

HOUSTON The Humane Society is lowering its fee for cats throughout the month of May. It typically costs $85 to adopt a cat but now you can get two cats for $50. The price includes shots, spay or neutering and microchip implantation.

"Come out and adopt. Open your heart to one of these cats," said Laurie Kendrick Houston with the Human Society. "Buy one, adopt one cat. You can take home another cat for free. It's a tremendous incentive."
