Investigators are hoping the public can help them track down a man who attacked a mother in her own apartment and stole her money. According to Crime Stoppers, on Tuesday, March 30, the victim was at home alone with her kids in her apartment in the 2700 block of Broadway. She heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. As she unlocked the door the suspect forced his way into her apartment. He began hitting her in the face with his fists and demanded money.

The victim struggled with the suspect and possibly cut him in the face during the struggle, authorities say. The suspect grabbed the victim's wallet and ran out of the apartment.
