Suspect wanted in attack against mother

HOUSTON According to Crime Stoppers, on Tuesday, March 30, the victim was at home alone with her kids in her apartment in the 2700 block of Broadway. She heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. As she unlocked the door the suspect forced his way into her apartment. He began hitting her in the face with his fists and demanded money.

The victim struggled with the suspect and possibly cut him in the face during the struggle, authorities say. The suspect grabbed the victim's wallet and ran out of the apartment.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s. He is around 5'10" tall with an average build. The victim said the suspect had bloodshot eyes and a scar on the right side of his face that curved around his ear in his hair.
