Woman's home infested by huge bee colony

HOUSTON Claude Griffin pulled the honey combs out of the walls of a home near Richmond. The honey had accumulated over several years and had attracted lots of rats and roaches.

"The honey lives like here, just like this it hangs right here. It supports itself," Griffin said. "Then you have all the roaches in there all over it with all the larvae and all the honey and all the mold and mildew. But this is actually behind the lady's wall behind the sheet rock and she doesn't know this but she can hear it buzzing through the wall."

A resident told us the bees would swarm out every day and fly through the car port area. Residents worried about the safety of themselves and their children.
