A prison guard accused of killing his wife and mother-in-law in Rosenberg last December was extradited back to the Houston area on Friday. U.S. Marshal's handed Turner over to Rosenberg police Friday afternoon. He is accused of stabbing to death his wife and her mother. Turner spent more than two months on the run before police arrested him at a Concord, North Carolina, mall on March 5.

Turner is accused of fatally stabbing his wife, Keitha Frank Turner, and her mother, Mary Jo Frank, at a Rosenberg home on Dec. 27. Keitha Turner's children allegedly witnessed the murders.

His car was located near Atlanta, Georgia, but police couldn't find him.

Turner was featured on America's Most Wanted, but the profile yielded no tips. Then on March 5, America's Most Wanted host John Walsh appeared on the 'Live with Regis and Kelly' show and mentioned the Rosenberg case. A viewer watching the segment recognized Turner and phoned in a tip. He was arrested and has been in the custody of U.S. Marshals until Friday.
