Same home catches fire three times in one day

HOUSTON The first flames broke out around 2:30am on Cinnamon Oak near Queensbury. Firefighters say the fire started in a detached garage, destroying that structure and a greenhouse.

"We were able to cut the fire off at that corner," said Deputy Chief Terry Stone. "While the house suffered some fire damage, most of it's OK."

The home didn't fare as well in round three. Smoke and flames had burned much of the top floor when firefighters were called to the home again in the afternoon.

No one was hurt. Investigators don't know what caused the original fire, or whether the second and third fires were flare-ups or some other problem.
