Bank robber leaves suspicious device behind

HOUSTON Around 11:30am police say a man wearing a fake beard entered Chase Bank on Woodforest near Freeport with some kind of object that he put on the counter. He demanded money from the teller, and then ran out, leaving the device behind.

The sheriff department's bomb squad was called out, and cleared the scene, but officials have not said exactly what the device was. The robber is still on the loose.
