Debris on East Freeway causes backups, blowouts

HOUSTON The traffic was backed up along I-10 between Lockwood and Waco. About ten to twelve vehicles had blowouts around 7pm Tuesday night, due to an unknown type of debris on the freeway.

Traffic was backed up for a while, and police diverted traffic around the debris field until wreckers could tow away the disabled vehicles.
