Sketch released of murder suspect

Crime Stoppers and HPD Homicide Investigators are asking for the public's help in solving the murder of Eber Merino On Thursday, November 12, at around 9:30pm, Merino was walking down the sidewalk in the 13500 block of Regg Street in southeast Houston when he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect shot Merino in the face and fled the scene. According to Crime Stoppers, he was seen leaving in a 1990's model white Ford Explorer or Expedition.

The suspect is only described as a black or Hispanic male in his twenties to early thirties with a husky build.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the any of the suspects in this case.
