DPS spokeman Tom Vinger on Wednesday identified the dead as 33-year-old pickup driver Kelly Marie Dutta of Beaumont and a passenger, 61-year-old Margaret Jane Cottom of Jasper. A 3-year-old girl in the vehicle was injured. Her name and condition were not immediately available.
Vinger says the wreck Tuesday night also killed the SUV driver, 47-year-old Kathy Harrison Viator of Orange.
Troopers say the pickup was southbound and attempting to make a left turn when the collision happened.
