Man wanted for injury to a child

Authorities are looking for help to track down a man wanted on a charge of injury to a child.Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating Robert Charles Davis. Davis was reportedly assaulting a female relative when the 10-year-old victim tried to stop him from hitting her mother. The girl was injured as a result of trying to help her mother.

On August 28, Davis was charged with injury to a child. Davis is a 53-year-old black male. Officials say he is 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has close cropped black hair and brown eyes.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of Davis. Tips can also be sent by text message -- Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
