Local doctor offers free eye exams

HOUSTON Baytown Optometrist Timothy Planty is giving free eye exams and glasses to people who can't afford them. Dr. Planty says he wants to help Texans overcome some of their economic difficulties and give them long overdue eye exams and glasses.

The doctor will be giving free exams from 9am until 3pm this afternoon at his offices on the East Freeway.
