Convicted sex offender failed to register

Police need your help in locating a convicted sex offender who failed to register and update his new address.Calvin Earl Bell was convicted of two counts of Indecency with a Child and sentenced to four years in 2000. Bell is required to register his current address with the Houston Police Department and to notify them within seven days of moving. Bell last registered in February with an address in the 3800 block of Rosemont.

Bell is described as a black male, 23 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 115 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and sports a tattoo on his left forearm.

Police ask anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS or log on to Crime-Stoppers.org. You could earn up to a $5,000 cash reward. All callers will remain anonymous.
