Ex accused of stabbing wife's new lover

According to the Waller County Sheriff's office, at around 12:30pm Wednesday, Miguel Parra went to his ex-wife's residence located near Hempstead. Authorities say upon his arrival, Parra kicked in the front door. Parra entered into the residence where he then reportedly kicked three more doors while searching for the ex-wife's new boyfriend.

Upon locating the boyfriend in a bedroom, Parra allegedly assaulted the boyfriend, stabbing him eight times with a knife.

The injuries the victim sustained are life threatening due to injuries to internal organs. The boyfriend was flown by Life Flight to Memorial Herman Hospital where he is currently being treated. His identity has not been released.

Authorities say Parra has been known to use the names of Miguel Angel Parra-Morales, Miguel Morales and Miguel A Parra. Parra is believed to be driving a 2001 maroon Chevrolet extended cab truck, displaying Texas license plates 18C-RD6.

Waller County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Parra. You're asked to call 979-826-8266 if you have any information on his whereabouts.
